 Playground reminder: 

 We have reminded students that they must have boots on in order to play in the snow. Without boots they must stay on the blacktop. Also, it is helpful if students have their hat, gloves, and so on, labeled with their name.

Working hard on writing

Thanksgiving reader's theater as part of reading groups this past week. We used these reader's theater scripts to practice using expression and also to build fluency. Students did a great job!

Week of November 9, 2015

Here are few upcoming dates that I wanted to make you aware of. 

• November 9 and 10: I will be taking a reading class with a group of teachers from our district. Please contact the elementary office with any reminders for your child, as I will not be in the building this Monday and Tuesday.

• November 10: Field trip to Cole Library with Mrs. Priske and Mrs. Casey. Students will leave at 2:00 and return around 3:00. 

• November 12:  Early dismissal 12:30

• November 15: Book Order Due (Flyers will be coming home on Monday, November 9). You can order online too. https://orders.scholastic.com/GZYZ7

• November 25-27: Thanksgiving break
