We have 19 students in our room. We will celebrate on Monday, December 21.  If you are no longer able to help with the items you signed up to bring, do not worry. Please just let me know as soon as possible.  Thank you!!!

Spelling Bee

On January 29 we will have our first annual Washington Elementary Spelling Bee! This is open to ANY student who wishes to participate. Beginning after break, Mrs. Maddock will provide all interested students with a weekly study list. They should come see Mrs. Maddock for their lists.
I will allow students in my classroom to use this list as their weekly spelling study in place of our weekly Journeys list. They can use the spelling bee list for the homework sheet.

On January 29, at 1:30 P.M. Spelling Bee contestants will meet in the lunchroom for the Bee, which will be led by two "celebrity" pronouncers. Trophies and ribbons will be awarded.

There will be a sign up in the lunchroom for interested students. Please contact Mrs. Maddock or myself if you have questions.
