Donate to Mission of Hope
Some of our high school students are taking a class named
Social Justice during J-term. They discuss social issues within our society.
They not only want to learn of these issues but be advocates for those in our
community. As part of their learning experience, they've put together a home
goods drive. These goods will be donated to Mission of Hope in Cedar Rapids.
Items to donate: Clothes and Shoes (of all sizes), Non-perishable foods
(We've been told their shelves are currently bare.) , Hygiene Products, Books,
Bedding and Boards Games. If you would like to donate but don’t have any items,
monetary donations will be accepted. Please make checks payable to MVHS. Money
donations should be given to the office. Please bring in your donations
to the school by Feb. 22.
Snow-pants, boots,
winter coats, hats, gloves/mittens!
Please have your child pack these essential items to enjoy
his/her time out on the playground. Boots
and snow-pants are required when there is snow on the ground. A HUGE
thank you for labeling your child's items, too.
